Women protest in bar against harvey weinstein

Several women protested in a new york bar against film producer harvey weinstein (67), who is accused of rape.

"Nobody says anything, even though you’re standing just a few feet away from a fucking rapist," screamed actress zoe stuckless in front of weinstein’s table, according to a video circulated by U.S. Media on thursday (local time). She was then asked by the staff to leave the bar.

According to media reports, other women also raised their voices, and some were booed by other guests for doing so. The deeply fallen former film mogul weinstein had attended a monthly event for actors on wednesday.

"This scene was inappropriate, downright rude, and an example of how you get squashed by the public these days," a spokesman for weinstein told the "hollywood reporter" afterward.

Since 2017, more than 80 women have made allegations against the 67-year-old. In a trial against weinstein, which is to begin next year, only two incidents are at issue. Weinstein insists all sexual acts were consensual.
