New teachers sworn in

One day before the start of the new school year, 14 prospective teachers in the area of elementary and secondary schools were sworn in at the district office of kitzingen for their preparatory service. They swore allegiance to the constitution of the federal republic of germany and to the bavarian constitution, a press release states.

The head of the state education authority, krause, described the responsible task that the young padagogues now faced. In fulfilling them, he wished them patience, diplomatic skill and joy, and characterized steadfastness as well as flexibility as necessary prerequisites for the successful pursuit of the teaching profession.

District administrator tamara bischof was pleased about the new teachers in the district of kitzingen, welcomed the prospective teachers and swore them in. She emphasized the value of education and the importance of making it accessible to as many schoolchildren as possible for a promising career, to do justice to every child and thus to ensure social permeability.

The chairman of the staff council andreas liebald also conveyed his best wishes for the start of his career. He described the teaching profession as the most beautiful profession in the world, and explained to the young teachers the importance of the education that lies ahead of them.

Nine future teachers are assigned to the elementary school seminar under the direction of the seminar rector stephanie reuver-schell for the schools in kitzingen, mainbernheim, marktbreit, sommerach and wiesentheid. Four teacher trainees start their preparatory service in the middle school seminar of the seminary principal achim engelking and are assigned to the schools in kitzingen, buchbrunn and volkach and one teacher trainee starts his service at a school in kitzingen.

For all of them, the next two years of training will lay the foundation for their future careers.
