Act 2 takes place in kulmbach: shortly after the incidents, the woman moved to kulmbach to her new life companion – who one day also had to discover that a brake hose had been cut on his car. However, the man noticed this before he drove off. In addition, the exchanged lover, who, according to the prosecution, traveled several hundred kilometers to commit his crimes, allegedly threw incendiary devices at the house of the woman’s new partner. Traces of this attack led investigators to the 37-year-old.
A warrant was issued against the man for three counts of attempted murder, aggravated arson, and one count of attempted and one count of completed dangerous interference with traffic. According to the chief public prosecutor potzel, the accused has admitted to having committed the crimes. But he did not want to kill the woman and her partner. The investigation is still ongoing. It is not yet clear when charges will be filed.
