“Spirit voices” ignites the “light of christmas” with a sonorous firework of music

The choir "spirit voices sang in the heilig- kreuz-church in reitsch with the benefit concert "light of christmas into the hearts of the listeners. The harmony and unison between the vocal ensemble and the accompanying instrumentalists as well as the vocal soloists were convincing in the over 40-strong choir.

The "voices of the spirit took with him on a journey through the many different genres of song and lit up the light of christmas to a true sonorous fireworks display of music. Partly modern hits, sacred choral literature and gospel to clap along to – no matter what genre the choir performed, the audience was fascinated by the voices, which interpreted a kaleidoscope of melodies with a beautiful sound and poignant lyrics.

Popular cultural carrier

In the almost 30 years of its existence, the choir has developed into a popular cultural carrier, which is listened to with pleasure far beyond the borders of the district of kronach. Under the musical direction of georg kestel and andrea hart, all the performers always succeed in getting into top form and rehearsing a broad repertoire.

Songs about light, peace, love and music, hope for an intact world as well as about god and the good made as well as the prayer of anselm grun "the angel who keeps the light in us" led to journeying, melancholy and finally again to joy and enthusiasm in the rhythmic clapping along.
