The youth red cross (JRK) in the district of kronach has elected a new leadership team. Sebastian gortler from johannisthal took over the post of head of youth work (ldja) on saturday. For the next four years, he will be assisted by florian lemnitzer as his deputy. The man from lauenstein had already held this position since frank muller stepped down as ldja at the beginning of 2012.

"I started with the JRK when i was about nine or ten years old. So I've been on the job for about 20 years now", gortler stated after his election.
